This week I shared about my first encounter with ChatGPT. It has inspired a mini series on: Trending tech and UX
I asked it to generate a list of 12 themes:
The Impact of Artificial Intelligence on UX Design
The Future of Augmented Reality in eCommerce
The Rise of Voice Assistants: How They're Changing the Way We Interact with Technology
The Ethics of User Data Collection in a World of Big Tech
The Role of Chatbots in Customer Service and UX
Virtual Reality: The Future of Immersive User Experiences
Designing for Accessibility: How to Make Your Tech User-Friendly for Everyone
The Pros and Cons of Dark Mode in User Interface Design
The Intersection of UX and Sustainability: Designing for a Greener Future
The Impact of 5G on Mobile App Development and UX
The Psychology of Color in User Interface Design
The Evolution of Wearable Technology and Its Impact on User Experience
Which then further delivered the generative copy of each of those themes with credible links to current articles.
I asked a few of my friends and peers about their opinion on creative content written by ChatGPT. I looked into policies held by various blog hosts and resources. It’s definitely a mix of opinions and rules in play. Personally, I am of the opinion that so long as you’re crediting the tool and adding your own voice and story, then ChatGPT is a streamlined tool to help the creative process, but should never be regarded as your own “work.”
The next 12 posts are scheduled to be posted Tuesday and Thursday for the next 6 weeks at 4pm EST. Grab your afternoon tea, swing by to see how well this product executed it’s task, and contribute your unfiltered industry perspectives.
